DSL Refresher Training

This is a half day course designed to support staff in multi-agency settings who have been in the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead for at least 1 year and who  have ALREADY COMPLETED the following courses;

• New to the Role of Designated Safeguarding Lead
• Early Help Assessment Tool Training

PLEASE NOTE: This course is not to be used as a interim course until the other courses listed above become available.

Learning objectives;

• Refresh understanding of your role, responsibilities and expectations as a Designated Safeguarding Officer within an agency and within the multi-agency arena.
• Update knowledge around changes in legislation and supporting local procedures and processes.
• Learn about the latest themes and findings from Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews (CSPR's)
• Share how you have created and developed a safe culture within your organisation. 
• Action planning to help you to develop and lead your organisation into better practices.

NB: Please note this training will be delivered in person. Please check the venue details. 

The waiting list for each date will not automatically transfer to future dates - new bookings will need to be made per course date.

All cancellations need to be made at least 7 working days prior to the training date. Any late cancellations or DNA's will automatically mark your LSCP Training account to indicate non attendance and may be charged £50.
